Ginnie Springs is a privately owned park on the Santa Fe River. It’s a popular place to cool off in the summer, since the crystal clear spring water is always 72 degrees year round. Located about 40 min from Gainesville, the drive on country roads is pleasant. When you get there get your ticket at the gate then check in and pay. There is a store selling most of the things you may have forgotten, and you can rent canoes, scuba gear, tubes, and more.
