Northwest Gainesville

Relaxed, friendly, slower paced

The People Are

young professionals with families, business owners, professors, and newly retirees

Living in NW Gainesville

you are close to everything. I-75 is minutes away, the mall is just around the corner, and UF is only a 15 minute drive. There are  plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy if you like that sort of thing.

Perfect for

someone  looking for a more relaxed neighborhood.  You will find many of the home owner associations  are on a voluntary basis. The hospitals are close by. The schools are “A “rated, and there is an abundance of churches and gas stations.  People will travel far to get to some of the local  restaurants.

You’ll Love

the friendly people in the NW. They generally are not in a big rush.  Don’t be  surprised if you are in line at the grocery store or the local post office and a stranger strikes up a conversation.

A Little About NW Gainesville:

I know of a goat farm, some awesome plant nurseries, and plenty of parks and walking areas.  The NW is a mix of much older and brand new homes, very small to enormous homes, and some even sit on 20 acre+ lots within minutes to downtown.  People in the NW like nature and you can see people outside getting some exercise in the morning or after work.
