Living in Longleaf
This is a stylish community of new homes in SW Gainesville. Take a stroll along the tree-lined sidewalks after dinner to enjoy the sunset. Sunbathe at the community pool on the weekend or let the kids enjoy the kiddie pool and playground. 24-hour fitness center, basketball courts.
Perfect for
anyone who hates mowing their lawn, busy professionals, residents and interns at Shands Hospital.

A Little About Longleaf:
the low-maintenance lifestyle and short commute to UF, Shands, and the VA. There’s also plenty of great restaurants nearby and a movie theatre.
I drive past the pool area, and already people are set up for the afternoon. A few sun bathers scattered about, couples visiting, dads in the kiddie pool with the kids. I love that they have a toddler fountain/pool like at Disney!
As I drive through the streets I see some ladies congregated together – looks like they have just finished a morning walk. Every now and then I pass an open garage where guys are gathered: putting their golf clubs in their cars, joking, and laughing with big smiles on their faces.
Something is missing…Wait! It’s Saturday, mid morning and no one is out mowing! Oh, that’s right; the association takes care of all the watering, mowing, planting, and pruning of the front yards.
