130 Little Orange Lake Drive
Hawthorne, FL 32640
Imagine coming home to a relaxing lakefront home. Little Orange Lake is SE of Hawthorne just 30 min from the University of Florida, Shands Hospital, and the VA Medical Center.
Entering the home, the first thing you notice is the breathtaking views of the lake. Large windows run along the back of the home, giving you great views from every room.
The foyer is perfect to greet guests. Step out into the large great room. This main area is open to the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The vaulted ceiling in the great room helps give an open and airy feeling, while a lovely wood burning stove helps keep you cozy when it’s cold out. The kitchen is large enough for a few cooks to work together for a large meal. The tile floor makes lake-living (specifically clean up) easy. There is a pantry in the kitchen, and extra storage in the laundry room.
The master suite is a nice place to enjoy some privacy. There is a big closet and generous master bathroom. There’s even two shower heads in the shower and his and hers sinks.
The guest bedrooms are on the opposite side of the home, sharing a hallway and guest bathroom.
The sunroom functions as a second living area, and opens onto the huge back porch. The porch runs along the length of the home, so your get-togethers can easily flow outdoors. From there walk down to the dock to fish for a while or watch sunset.
The 1.5 acre lot is a rectangle, giving you plenty of room both in front and behind the home. Little Orange Lake is large enough for you to sail, kayak, or just have a refreshing swim on a hot summer day.
Located just 25 min from Downtown Gainesville, you are close enough to enjoy lake living every day.
