Living in Duckpond is Über cool. Ducks do swim in the canal. The people here are very friendly and take great pride in their homes and yards. There is very little wasted space. Parking is at a premium, so don’t park on the street or you may get a ticket.
The People here are in love with the architecture and history of these old Colonial style homes. They also appreciate the location to downtown Gainesville.
Here is no active HOA in the subdivision of Fairoaks. There is a voluntary Duckpond Neighborhood Association you can join if you want to be involved in the area.
