163 Alachua County & Gainesville real estate listings had price reductions in the MLS system last week, up from 143 the prior week. (Changes for 7/18/09 – 7/25/09)
Biggest Drops
The biggest drop this week is a tie – between two homes that dropped their asking prices by $200,000.
MLS 306351 comes in at first place because their reduction represents a 27% drop in asking price – this is a 10 acre equestrian property with a 10 stall barn and a 3,400 sqft home built in 2002 now asking $738,000.
MLS 301796 was reduced by 12%. It is a 113 acre estate with 2 homes and a 10,000 square foot barn. The owners are now asking $1,650,000 for the property.
